What are some good options for dash/rear cams?

I wasn't sure if I should put this thread in /o/ or /g/, so apologies if it's the wrong place.

i use a dod LS360W and it gets the job done.
The 460w is much clearer if you can afford paying a bit extra

We've had dash cam threads before. I haven't bought one yet, used to borrow my dad's GoPro and use that - it was good enough at the time, lasted a few hours with the battery pack. Their remotes are fucking useless shit and I wasn't happy with the audio quality.

You can check out this site - I've kinda been eyeing the Action Camera for like a year now. Apparently if you buy it off Amazon, they won't give you any support if it fucks up, so that's pretty shitty. I don't recall seeing a dash cam package last time I checked the site. But yeah, it's pretty cheap and there are plenty of good reviews about it out there so I'll probably get it sooner or later. They have other cameras that I think I recall one or two other anons recommending on here before, I haven't really looked into them though (or if I did, I don't remember how they compared to the Action Camera). I think the ones they had are pretty much dedicated dash cams - I'd prefer to have a camera I can use as a dash cam but also take with me while hiking or whatever, and that's why I think I'll probably take the Action Camera. Just sucks that there isn't much official mounting equipment for them from what I remember.

I got that vantrue r2 when they marked it down from 150$ to 100$. Shuts down randomly just like amazon reviews say. Not recommended.
