It has a small block Ford in it. It's the most reliable thing to ever come out of Italy. Easy decision. The NSX is a glorified Accord and the Delorean has 0 redeeming qualities as an actual automobile outside of the interesting appearance

Pretty much when your car is an engine, a transaxle, and 10 electrical circuits. They are extremely basic and aside from the transaxle use off the shelf parts from cheap cars of the era. The quality may be shit but there's just not enough to the car for it to be unreliable

You could pick up a delorean for around 20k-30k but not in best condition.
A decent NSX would be 40k but they have been increasing in price for a while.
Pretty much don't get a delorean unless you are going to swap the motor.
A pantera would be 40k-80k but you could get a refurbished delorean around that range.
