Been considering a mazda 3 for my first car. Wanted a hatchback. Manual of course. Can anyone share their experience with these? Need a reliable car for a student and I've heard mixed opinions on these

s grand touring. drive as far as necessary to get one.

I have an 05 hatch with the 2.3L and 5spd
LOVE this car. 160k miles.
Ive needed an alternator and struts.
Watch out for rear motor mounts and MAF wiring

are you asking about the speed 3 or the normal 3?
The speed 3 is fast, clutch isn't as fun to work with if you are commuting
The normal 3 is a great car from what i've read and observed. A lot of them with a lot of miles out there.

You're gonna need a better car like a Corolla with proven reliability and resale value. Corolla is simply more car for the money.
I've also been interested. How reliable are these cars after 100k mileage?
I have a 2012 with 45k miles, the only issue I have had is my dash cover separating above the CID a few MM. Car is still fun to drive and has good pickup still. I do regret buying the s grand touring trim one though, or getting a speed 3. Get one and enjoy the Zoom Zoom.

I was talking about normal 3. Was also considering an 02 -03 toyota celica. My whole family drives toyotas so I know how reliable they are. I also wanted a decently fun to drive car as well as reliable though

Corolla's as fun as the Celica with more utility. IF you can get one of the late model Celicas with the 2ZZ you could get a shit load of fun out of it.

I would have wanted a civic Si but it's hard to find one for sale that either hasn't been shit maintained or shit modded by some fag

Best econobox out there if you actually care about the driving feel.

Have an 07 s GT. Drove 1.5 hours twice to get it. Overpayed on it because the salesman cucked me but I lub the car.
Found out I hate leather seats in the summer though.
How much off do you guys think would be normal for a 3 or 6 (new)?
