Hey /o/, Central Europe fag here, thinking on buying one of these.
My budget is 1500 eur, because obviously I will have to spend on the car later on.
My point when chosing were:
-it should look like a fucking ufo
-it should be comfortable af
-it should have an at least ok engine
-i should enjoy driving around the fucking thing
So my question is, with the conditions above, is the BX a good choice? Or is there anyhing out there that I missed?
Also, if any fags here own this thing, how do you like it? Does the suspension cause problems? Is there anything I should pay special attention to when buying?

So I lurked for about 6 hours now, and here's the deal: it's either in horrible condition, is decent but has a weak-ass engine, or when those things dont occur its a fucking cabriolet.
Is there anything else worth looking into? Or should I stick with the R19 and try to import it from Germany? It seems like all the decent ones are gone. But the import also looks like a pain in the ass.

The BX is the comfiest shitbox. Make sure the suspension isn't fucked though, it's a real pain to fix hydropneumatics.

Go gti and you would be mega cool, the only hot hatch with hail hydra suspension in history. Even better the 16 soupapes, but they are hrd as fuck to find.
In spain they are scarce but dirt cheap.

I actually found 2 GTis, but one is an automat, and the other looks a bit fucked. Still, I'll look into the latter, and try to figure out if repairing it would fit my budget. Or just to see if its a fucking scam or not.
