I want to participate in rallycross and I want to do it with a V8, preferably 'Murican.
What are your suggestions?

Or, alternately whatever you can afford.
Use a 5.0 Mustang. You're destined to crash it anyway to take charge and crash it with a vengeance

3rd gen Camaro or a Fox body Mustang. Both would be ideal for rallycross. They wouldn't be competitive at all. FWD and AWD cars are best for speed in this motorsport but RWD is definitely the most fun. A stout e30 in iS form or with an e34 swap is super fun (have done).

Whatever you can afford really. Just keep in mind you'll probably end up wrapping it around something at some point
Watch Love the Beast and you'll see your future

Eh, if you're looking for rally you're probably looking for awd. I don't think that there is an American AWD V8. Unless you can do a swap on something, followed by some interesting tranny work, you're fucked.

S10 with a V8 swap.

Okay, is there a non-American AWD V8?

The dodge charger was available with awd and the 5.7 hemi, newer models only available with the v6 though when they moved to the 8 speed(called the rally) police chargers are still available with the AWD and v8 because they still have the 5 speed

audi rs4, audi v8, jensen interceptor

My suggestion would be an engine swapped ranger.
Call it the Lil Raptor
But idk if trucks can even compete in rally, what are the rules for your locale? Link?

Vauxhall Firenza's and Chevette's used to rally with V8's, but were fist fucked by Escorts, and Fiat 131's all the time.

Ironically enough, I saw that ranger while at the red bull Rallycross races

V8's are shit for rallycross, v6/straight-6 maybe
