I have an old beat up 1958 dune buggy like pic related. What should I do to it? Everything is pretty rusty and seats aren't perfect, but it's a fun car. Pimp my car, /o/

That was 11 years ago and I'm still bitter over it.
Get one of those big fat 4 into 1 exhaust pipes that sticks out the back and an upward angle. Only pic I could find of what I'm talking about, sorry it's a tiny thumbnail.

Get it working properly, remove rusty bits, sandblast and paint. If you want more power then there exists plenty of kits. If you're crazy enough; Porsche engine

A lot of their stuff is just rice accesories and empi brand parts, I've read a few of their catalogs. For everything else, just try for OEM or non-chinese made.I personally wouldn't buy empi stuff.

Do you guys have any personal experience to share?
The one belonging to my mate (>>15842129) has a whole EMPI-engine, polyurethane bushings, steering wheel and a lot more, never had any issue with the parts and nothing has gone wrong as of yet, although he has had it for just four years
