Audi should offer a bunch of quattro-equipped shitboxes in manual, and there's the 1/2G DSM and the 3000GT VR-4.

Knocking Subaru out leaves you with few choices in the States. AWD shitboxes and boxers were their gimmicks.

It's not that hard. I bought a 90 talon tsi awd with a 5 speed a few months ago with all major maintenance done and 90k on the clock for $3700. The real problem is finding them unmodified
