It's already difficult for a consumer to buy full synthetic oil cheaper than the 5 quart jugs at wal-mart. Consumers don't set up purchanse contracts with wholesalers who are most interested in repeat regular business relationships.

Full synthetic 5-quart jugs of all major name brands are $23 to $24 at my local wal-mart. The various companies have been doing a price war at wal-mart in the that size range. The individual quart bottles remain high-priced. If you buy 2 one quart bottles, you might as well go to the 5 quart jug since for a little bit more, you get 3 more quarts.
