seriously though, right now im debating on whether to make my RWD X90(the red one) a track toy or to sell it to my local rotary shop for cheap and see what kind of monster they could build.

Here is some basic info for the RWD:
> somewhere around 2300 lbs is the listed weight of the car but doesnt specify RWD or 4x4.

Info on X90 in general

Engine info:
The engine is the G16b, a 1.6 SOHC 16valve 4 cylinder with roughly 90 HP. Cutting the cat out gives a decent few HP back. Allegedly the weakest part of the engine is the .You can swap the DOHC head from the G13b(Swift GTI engine) for an automatic 30-40hp(according to suzuki forums). it bolts right up, you just need a custom tune.

this head swap leaves you with a 8.5:1 compression ratio which is perfect for a turbo. also you can get forged pistons and rods for a grand USD. No one really knows the limits of this engine yet. you can get some extra HP from porting that DOHC too.

RWD is open diff only.
Calmini used to carry LSDs for these but they stopped carrying them. anyone have a place to get them? they are the same under the hood as the first gen Geo tracker/chevy tracker/Suzuki sidekick

ehhhh i mint one will usually run for about 5K.

i bought my RWD for 1600 and my 4x4 for 1300. both are 96.

id say for a running, low rust example expect 1500 to 3000, depending on how nice you want/can find one.

its SO MUCH FUN
the biggest things everyone who has driven or ridden in them says are:
> stiff ride(sporty depending on how you take it)
> everything feels so much faster especially with the top down. when im just cruising to my destination i often find myself 5-10 UNDER the speed limit because it just feels like you are going faster

but at the same time you can actually get some "decent" acceleration. My RWD was running 12.5 seconds in the 1/8 mile. You wont be winning really any drags but getting to highway speeds will never be a problem as long as you are willing to rev it out.

in the rain or on a gravel/dirt you dont even have to try to get the tail out in first. second is harder, but possible. if you really want to do some drifing you will need to lower it, get rid of body roll, and add some power, but like i said, in the rain or on dirt you can absolutely hoon.

also my RWD does some wicked burnouts.

no touge drifting will happen out of the box but with power it might be possible. im not sure how the short wheelbase affects drifitng

i have done a little drifting and donuts in dirt covered industrial areas around me though.

FAIR WARNING: finding pody parts for these is a witch hunt. ive been working with my local Suzuki dealer and a fair amount of things are down to double digit inventory or just discontinued. all 4 of my side mirrors have rusted through and they are $300 apiece right now. but if you need a quick fix, Samurai mirrors fit.

i deliver pizzas in the red one and while flooring it around town all day and often hooning/racing on the clock i still get 25 MPG solid.

i know it would be insane to own 3, but i also want to take a 4x4 and make a rally car.

maybe with the 1.6 with the DOHC swap, or maybe with a Hyabusa engine swap and sequential gearbox.

before anyone tries to tell my putting a busa engine in a car is impossible here is some Busa swapped Suzuki Cappuccinos.
