I am a new driver who lives in the mountains, I want to practice driving up in the passes but I am wondering how dangerous it is for a novice. Any tips for staying out of trouble?

Do it late of a night time and don't turn your high beams on so you can see cars coming.
other than that don't go faster than you know you can go around a corner, always make slow progress with going faster around a certain corner don't try to take huge leaps.
Don't cook your brakes.

Uhhhh, automatic Toyota camry.... It belonged to a relative, it's a good first car though. I might buy something better suited for mountain driving after a while, preferably with a manual transmission

Don't cross the fucking centre line.

This, use your gears
Brake before entering a corner and don't break during the turn

Wow who would have thought that motorcyclists are all whiny little bitches with an unwarranted sense of entitlement

Alright Fujiwara, Listen up
This will be your hardest opponent yet. He drives a FWD toyota camry, but knows how to adjust the body roll. He has upgraded his sound system, so if you get side by side with him, you might get shaken by the sudden COOL VIBRATIONS playing from the car. Do not make the mistake to underestimate him.
Slow down if you cannot see far ahead, at crests or turning around trees. Watch for animals jumping out. Maybe pot holes too.
