can the snek turn? or does it have american handling

The original versions may as well have had leaf springs. Terrible ride quality and ox cart handling.
The latest generation are monsters though. You can get some from the factory with 355/30R19 track tires.
>>15734219
its comparable to a TVR Cerbera
>>15734219
The old ones sucked, but the new ACR broke plenty of track records. The new one can turn, and everyone just talks about the old one when you mention it
>>15734241
the track times for the first gens are still pretty impressive for what it is though
>>15734274
thread's not about laptimes you nigger
>>15734254
>it trumps the TVR Cerbera in every conceivable way
Fix'd
>>15734282
so is there no correlation between optimal handling characteristics and good lap times?
>>15734219
I've always found that the first gen snek is the coolest along with the latest one, I didn't really like the desings of the rest tho idk why
>>15734302
so is there not lots of things that affect lap times?
if so, why would you want to use a metric for comparison that you know is affected by lots of inputs besides the one you care about?
>>15734332
handling is one of if not the most important factor, don't act as if it is a minor variable
>>15734349
lap times are a stupid way to compare handling.
however, you're just a thicko who needs to over simplify things so you can understand them - each to their own, so carry on.

>The old ones sucked
Eh, i wouldn't go that far. it was the older ones that won Nurburgring races and whatnot in the early 2000s and their chassis were still being used in/winning other forms of motorsports well into the mid-late 2000s. (bathurts races in Australia come to mind)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpXWpPXLMhI

Agreed, the RT/10 in OPs picture is the most basic of Vipers when they first started coming out yet on Waterford Hills (the american touge) it is as fast as a E92 M3.
This car's engine weighed 700 lbs. it defies physics how it moves so fast without AWD.

When motorweek reviewed the car they said some suggested a Viper-only racing series because the cars were so great to track.
Ferd had a V10 so i wish they could've tried to do something as crazy as this.
