Can somebody on /o/ do a pro and con of wheel spacers. Im contemplating on whether to get them on my car or not.

Pros-
Can change where the wheel sits
Cam widen track
Ones in pic are much better than the shitty skinny ones that only allow you to use 3 threads of the studs
May make handling better.
Cons:
More load on wheel bearing
More load on everything technically
May adversely affect handling
>pro
You get your desired fitment
>con
Reduced strength
There's nothing really wrong with running them, the ones in your pic are hubcentric too which is good but you have to be aware of the hub size of the car and the center bore of the wheel or it wont work.
It's don't if you drive fast or try to do wicked skidz
Alright for slow moving flashy car.

These
Nothing wrong with using them if you need them. Just be aware that if you change your wheel offset too much you will run into bump steer and accelerated wheel bearing wear.
>>15723726
in some places it is legally required that the hub centric type are used
>>15723726
Just buy the correct offset wheel instead.
>>15723726
Just get wider rims and tires fgt
>>15724255
also changes in scrub radius
>>15723726
if your car does not have the largest engine size available for that model
you may find that you also do not have the largest tire size that your cars platform can take
giving you a clear and proven path for upgrades

this sight can search by make year and model

Well yeah scrub radius is what causes bump steer. Changing wheel offset will result in a scrub radius

There is no problem driving fast and using hubcentric spacers. NASCAR and touring car series use spacers to change track width for different circuits.
>Pros
Wider track width
Fitting wider wheels and more tyre
Clearing big brakes
Looks cool
>Cons
Bump steer
Increased scrub radius
Unsprung weight
If you're sensible and don't bolt on 50mm worth of spacer the cons are negligible.
