is it possible to swap the 1.0L 3cyl with a 3800 supercharged v6?
>>15722322
anything is possible with enough money.
but easily? Nope. Not a chance in hell.
Why not just get a 89-94 model and 1.3L 16V swap it? Drops right in, and the 1.3L DOHC 16V is a fucking screamer.

Not going to fit without significant front end re-engineering.
Keep in mind the Metro slotted below the Cavalier in Chevy's line up. 3800 Cavalier swaps have been done, but even then it required re-engineering, and a custom sub-frame built from scratch.
The Metro has a smaller engine bay. A 3800, as a 90 degree V6 engine, is simply not going to fit.
But why the 3800 anyways? It's a shit meme engine with no good points beyond reliability.

its one of the best v6 engines ever made

lol
>>15722322
Yeah but why, just do a VR6
>>15722411
Stop, it's absolutely unremarkable.
>>15722411
>sounds like shit
>doesn't like making power
>doesn't like to rev
>design is full of bandaids to keep it together
>iron block and heads
>90 degree V angle
>literal cut down V8
Should me something, without referencing reliability or forced induction, that makes that engine good.

Yes, you just need about 500$ and an afternoon.
