2016 Malibu Limited LT
Boeing R&D engineer (retired)
No need or desire to show power level as my kids can do that for me. Just one of the pension sources can buy a new car every year, but no desire to. Bought new cars for the kids so they'd have something to drive while at university by co-signing their car loans thru BECU and paid them off immediately to help their credit scores. I took 7.5 years to get thru college with a BSEE since my parents didn't pay for my education, food, or place to stay. It was tough trying to have money with everyone else having the same attitude of squeezing me. So I'm proud of putting the kids thru school. My personal tough times are far in the past, but they still affect how I buy cars for myself which is why I still can't make myself get something more upscale.
