no doubt it has performance shortcomings. i also have no stake in defending it. that said, better suspension components and larger brakes probably do net it some gains on the track.

on another note, i don't know for sure if i'd even fit in the brz desu, but that's the primary reason i can't get a miata.

Are you taller than Jeremy Clarkson? Because he fits. I'm 6'1" and while I have to lean down to get in, there's plenty of room once I'm in the seat. Remember that it's designed for someone of average height to drive with a helmet on. That's also why the headrests can be reversed.
