Ugliest thing on that car. I've changed my to m-sport. Interesting enough after some driving you kinda not notice it anymore, but at first it's really ugly.

the wrapping material is the worst I've ever seen
A short 10 minutes drive will make your pawn red and tingle
I have to buy a piece of leather and re-wrapped it myself

Ford has designed what I think is THE worst steering wheels I have used as of recent (at least in the escape).

The dealer I work at went on a buying spree of the newer escapes and I have had to drive so many of these fucking things. The steering wheel is designed so badly and is so uncomfortable to use its mind boggling how they fucked up this bad

The volume buttons on the wheel curve away from you to match the aesthetic, which makes it impossible for you to press them with your thumb. You pretty much have to take your hand off the wheel and use your index finger to press them, at which point you might as well reach over to the stereo.

All the bluetooth buttons are so far out of reach for your thumb taking your hand off the wheel is also required to press them. Couple this with cheap feeling materials and a very thin, oddly placed spokes and you have one of the worst steering wheels on the modern market today

Whats the point of putting buttons on the wheel if they are such a pain in the ass to use?

I have this same wheel in my car, I like the cruise control and stereo buttons.

With a 4 spoke wheel you can rest your hand on the bottom for maximum comfy.
