What do you think, /o/, C5 is shit or not?
>3.0 Diesel
>Comfy (Hydractive Suspension)
>Nice seats
>Headlining is good
Why i should not buy this?

Here's a good reason : when the suspension craps out you're looking at 4k+ euros in repairs.
And it's french.
>>15649987
Make sure nothing's right about to break.
Also be prepared to deal with French electronics.

>not a c6

This.
My dad's C5's suspension went to shit within a year, getting rid of it ASAP because the fix costs more than a replacement vehicle.

Yeah, PSA diesels are pretty good.

I have the 1.6THP version, can't answer your questions about the engine, but everything else is really nice. The headroom at the back is okay ish, but I still fit with my 1.85m frontal headroom is great, steering wheel feels really nice. Gearbox Is good, but I think the 3.0 is autotragic only. Sound proofing is nice, engine noise isn't much when you're doing 140 on the highway. My car burns oil like a madman though. Fillups every 5k kilometres.
2011 1.6HDI C5 reporting in.

Please fuck off
>hey guys I'm getting a [brand X]
>lol prepare to deal with [brand X] electronics
/o/tist, German cars are just as bad when it comes to electronics
It's not like most people still do work on a modern car, especially not electronics.
I've had mine about 2.5 years now, and not a single mechanical part has shit itself so far (except the aircon, which Citroën replaced for free), and I'm not very gentle with it.
They're good cars nowadays and there's some real bargains out there.

what is wrong with that steering wheel lol
>>15653148
The inner part doesn't rotate when you turn the wheel.
It has turned a few heads when I picked people up
>>15653148
Nothing wrong, retard.

My friend had a C5 like that, minus the hydro suspension. He was regularly taking it back to the stealership to fix small but annoying problems like faulty parking sensors, misaligned brake pads and so on. And the ergonomics were worse compared to previous-gen C5 (which wasn't a benchmark to begin with). When the warranty ran out, he immediately sold it and bought an Audi.
Where new generation, lol? C5 really so good and sales are nice?

Better than fiat but still not good, it's not the 90s any more.
