Okay. Have a 2009 Jetta TDI being bought back by VW in November. They are giving us 16k for it. What is the best value in a new car around this dollar? Civic, corolla, sentra, gas Jetta --- all about 20k. Yaris, fit, versa, fiesta, all around 14-16k. What's the best we could do without putting out another 5+k. Would obviously rather not have to spend anything, but...

Best value is going to be a Chevy Sonic Turbo. Most practical is gonna be a Honda Fit. Most reliable is gonna be a Toyota Yaris/Scion iA.
