it's a shitty car build quality wise. it's meant to be anything from rental to the bare minimum car some poor people can afford who are dodge loyal. the power is lacking and it's competitors (focus, civic, mazda3, etc) are better buys overall when it comes to reliability sans the auto DCT in the focus.

the only one I would even consider is the one with the abarth turbo engine, but only if i got it for ridiculously cheap

On the upshot, the turbo models are great tuner cars, there's good aftermarket and overlap with Alfa Giulietta parts.
