My sister's boyfriend might have dropped a piece of ceramic from a spark plug down the plug hole. A chunk is missing from the plug he removed and can't find it and the engine runs like shit.
I'm guessing I need a bore scope and pray that the cylinder walls/rings aren't fugged.
tl;dr help pls and thank you

Rotate cylinders by hand.
Vacuum on the plug hole.
Alternatively, remove head.
it's too late
Not a spot you want to be in. I would assume you would hear rattling/pinging with the hood open. Shop vac and hope for the best?

I was thinking rotate to tdc and look the best I can. Maybe blow air in to see if I hear a rattle. If I do shop vac it and hope I got it. Then inspect plug and do a compression test on the cylinder.
Thoughts?

So he/you decided to fire it up after dropping it in and you're asking how to get it out after the fact?
How fucking stupid do you have to be

I wasn't there, he called me about it.
The guy isn't the brightest bulb in the box.

And you are the one too dumb to replace the sparks yourself. Seriously, if it was some mid-expert level repair I could understand. But even the women in my family know how to replace spark plugs man.

I didn't know he was doing this, I got a surprise waste of my time phone call and two I physically can't due to back surgeries.
Thread ded?
