really well, shit bites like a motherfucker
currently at 120k, gotta check the service records and see if they were replaced......i'm pretty sure the clutch wasn't and I'm surprised it doesn't slip yet considering they only usually last like 75k
How do you like it op?
Has it been reliable? How's the gas mileage?
Is it fun to drive? I'm coming from a E36 M3 project car and a bunch of Hondas so I have decent expectations.
I'm looking at a new daily driver and saw the G35 6 speeds (mostly 03-05 sedans) went down to $3000-6000 on average.
I have an 06 CV35 6 speed.
Bought it with 96k (miles) on it and I've got ~131k on it now. Original clutch, previous owner bought it with 10k (miles) on it. Was brought upto Canada, original owner had the car repo'd from him, something to that affect.
Clutch pedal went to the floor within the first month of ownership after coming off the highway after a boot. Installed an SS clutch line with fresh fluid, was good for about a year. Acted up a year later and changed the slave, everythings good so far.
Burns ~1 quart per oil change so nothing crazy. Clunks/grinds into 2nd gear when its cold as fuck out (-0f or colder) before tranny is upto temp.
ITT: The poor Man's 350z.

I actually bought mine for 3k with approx 150k on it. Not a bad deal imo since the car kbb for 4500 in good condition. In my honest opinion after puting 27k on the car since then its been really good, although VQ motors tend to burn oil so you have to check occasionally but it varies to each car. But i have to say even at higher miles it still pulls very well. I have the VQDE with 260hp 260trq but i still keep up with a lot of newer cars on the road and it can hang with wrxs on the highway. Although there is the HRVQ thats rated for 298hp and 280trq which can be found easily and cheap too.
