The 6 is too heavy for the 2.5 liter imo. If mazda would make a V6 it'd be perfect. Or the turbo 4 from the CX9.

The 2.5 skyactiv is a good size for the 3 though. 185 hp 185 ft lb.

Agreed. Have had two 2nd gen MX6's and am on my eighth or ninth Probe GT right now (same chassis/running gear). A FR MX6 or Probe would have been fuuuuuun.
