Why are American cars so overpriced?
>>15612199
They're not in America :^)
...they are?
>>15612199
someone once told me that everything is about double as expensive in norway than it is in germoney and I thought he's talking bullshit.
>>15612213
Not everything, but it applies to cars.

> Cheap cars
> European models, so they're full of toys and have decent suspension
> Older cars practically free
> Roads capable of doing the cars justice
> RHD so low chance of Romanians stealing them
British market best market.

Well the limited trim starts at 60k burgers in freedom land and I would assume Norway probably has to bring them over from England, maybe Germany. Plus white specifically is the only premium color for that trim which cost and extra 1000 USD.
I WANT A BMW RIGHT NOW REOOOOOO
Because Yurop is poor and they need rich Americans to help them

Europeans are fucked on everything automotive
>insurance rates
>fuel costs
>initial purchase prices
>parking / housing with garages
>parts availability
Honestly, if I were European, I'd just use public transit as it's pretty good over there.

>insurance rates
Most Americans who post their insurance costs on here are paying more than me
>fuel costs
yep
>Initial purchase prices
Looking at craigslist, you can have a fully functional car here for what you pay for a rolling chassis in 'murrica
>Parking/housing with garages
Depends where you are I guess, my small surburban house has a 2 car driveway and street parking
>parts availability
u wot?

>Plus white specifically is the only premium color
Sure feels good to be white.
>>15617911
>Insurance rates
On bigger engines sure, but for a standard Focus or Corolla I'm pretty sure it's cheaper here
>fuel costs
Won't deny it
>Initial purchase prices
Depends again mostly on engines in countries with pollution tax. We also have shitboxes like Dacia that are cheaper than anything you can buy in burgerland
>parking / housing with garages
What the fuck do you imagine Europe looks like? Of course if you live in the center of Paris it will be difficult to find but same thing with New York.
>parts availability
What? do you think it's the middle of Africa and we all drive patched up 1970's Peugeots or something?

>Honestly, if I were European, I'd just use public transit as it's pretty good over there.
pretty much what I'm doing, don't even have a license.
whole situation is quite sad since I love cars but not given up yet.
