What gets me is when the neckbeards fiercely defend the manual transmission to a fault and refuse to admit that there are manuals that good and those that are bad and have the audacity proclaim that modern automatic or semi-auto is inferior to their '90s shitbox that has this horrendous combination of clunky and mushy when you try to shift it.

I don't know. Personally I'm kinda tired of gun fags trying to compare their hobby to being a car enthusiast. I get that the two hobbies are kind of comparable in terms of the devotion and fanaticism each group gives their hobby, but at the end of the day a car and a gun serve very different purposes. Car's were invented to replace horse drawn carriages as a means of transport. While cars can be used to kill things, that isn't their defacto purpose to exist. No you're just cherry-picking and choosing to interpret my arguments that way. I didn't say anywhere that guns can ONLY be used for killing, just like cars aren't ONLY for transportation. Marksmanship competitions are sporting events just like drag racing or nascar is. That still doesn't change the original necessities that brought about the invention of cars and guns. Cars were invented because people wanted something superior to horse drawn carriages for transportation needs. Firearms were invented because people wanted something superior to hunt and fight wars with. No one has tried to refute this other than with name calling and "hurr durr that's irrelevant".

Gun Fudds think no one outside Mil/LEOs should own modern firearms. They only care about overpriced shotguns and deerguns.

A Car Fudd equivalent would advocate for limits on fuel tank capacity, engine displacement, top speed, passenger capacity, etc. Common sense car laws. Everyone would be driving PT Cruisers with gimped engine. Also all cars would only be sold by dealerships after extensive background checks and legal hoop hopping.
