Yes, to bad it needs power

Too bad at this point the batteries overheat after 15 minutes on track (at least teslas do). Electric motors are great though and I hope someone makes an enthusiast oriented electric car one day. I'd like to own one.

Would rather see beefed up CVTs tuned to run IC engines at peak power instead of being neutered for fuel economy with an electrically faked 'gear changing' sensation first.


Perfect that, then couple it to a few bitchin' electric motors and I'd be interested in seeing how much tire it would take to make it stick.

4AFE is weird like that. Toyota likes to use one (external) cam gear on DOHC for their "narrow valve angle" economy engines. They do that on their 1MZ V6 as well. So I guess the cams spin opposite directions.

4AGE has a wide valve angle requiring two cam gears
