This happened to me last Saturday
>test drive 2001 Lexus at dealership
>drive goes well, car is in great shape
>get back, pop the hood
>oil all over the engine
>salesman is clueless
>tell him "hey man, this thing has a valve cover gasket leak, probably cost me a few hundred bucks to get fixed"
>offer $580 less than asking price
>they take it
>drop it off at an indy next Tuesday
>"well anon, in addition to the valve coverror gasket, your spark plugs and wires are fucked, you really should have those changed too"
>paid fuck all for the car itself so no problem, knew it would need something right away
>get the bill
