There actually isn't much difference with the 4v. The 4.6 dohc is aluminum block too.

The 2v 4.6 can handle 450 hP to the wheels before needing new internals. Boost away

Bottom end is good for 400hp.

Just upgrade your fuel delivery system and you should be okay.
