Should I get an lsd for my e92 335i?

I've done almost all maintenance (water pump + tstat, belts + pulleys, plugs and coils, a bunch of coolant hoses, etc) and minimal mods (just DCI).

I'd really like to get an lsd if it helps with traction on acceleration in snow.

I can only afford either get an lsd or a winter beater. I found a deal on a used lsd for $2k Canuck bucks installed and I'm really leaning towards this option.

And yes, I do have a dedicated set of winter tires.

I have a 1995 325is. Pretty much everything on it is in shit shape, except the engine which seems alright, and the suspension which I replaced when I got the car. The clearcoat is peeling, there are large dents and there is a scrape on the passenger side.

I recently saw a 1995 318is for $500 with a fucked engine, but a good condition interior (the interior in mine is fucked) and decent looking paint. Should I buy it and swap the engine and suspension from my 325is over to it? Big job, but my 325 is a PoS and I'm getting sick of having to fix a bunch of inane bullshit every other month.

Any ideas on what to do with a black 320d e90 that only got the cheap silver plastic interior?
Thought about getting the M package interior, but finding the Glacier Aluminium (I like that honeycomb like structure) + 8 button iDrive knob is near impossible. Maybe white carbon foil as a contrast to the black?
To make it worse, the previous owner only ordered it with the standard steering wheel -> no steering wheel clasp. Is it true that the airbag from the bog standard one doesn't fit the Sports / M steering wheel? It's so terrible thin and got a cheap feeling, but buying a new airbag? No way.

I'm gonna get rid of my x5. Recently bought a g-class and girlfriend prefers her lexus over driving my x5.

I'll still have my 4 series though and I still prefer driving that over my mercedes.

It's fucking hard to sell an x5. I tried giving it to my family and neighbours but they aint having that shit. It was good in 2011 but now it just drives like shit lol.
