I have a motorcycle to drop panties. And a mazdaspeed protege that can out run cop cars and still gets 32mpg. I also have a Ranger gets 22mpg and has 210k miles,(for when I need to get shit done) If I need a pigger truck I can rent one. 20 mpg is what any vehicle should get at a minimum. My sister just bought a brand new SUV hybrid that gets 24mpg.... I think she has brain damage.

The stock exhaust on 6.5 TD's from chevy is too small.
Common fix is to simply smack on a 4" pipe+muffler from the turbo and out.
Less stress on the engine although it should not be that noticeable, better mpg, and some extra horsepower.
The sound is noticeably better, but not obnoxious.

Sometimes there's a reason for building a louder exhaust.
Other times, as the case with stacks, it's just misguided idiots with money.
