looks good, was going to buy one myself recently (clk55) but went with e55 w211 instead. you should definitely install some bixenon's

It's been good, I've had it for a year and a half with no problems, just regular maintenance. It took me a while to find mine. I originally wanted a CLK 55, but it was hard to clean, low mileage one. It has every option except bi-xenon. I really hate the halogen headlights, I'm going to swap them out for pic related, but I just haven't had the time to pull the front bumper off.

I actually thought about an E55 in the beginning, but went for the two door CLK.

What's the E55 like? It's got the massive supercharged V8, right?

Really wanted a CLK 55 but the only ones I could find had some shoddy paint or interior trim issues...

Kinda want to switch to the bi-xenons, too. They remind of the SLR.

yeah it has the supercharger, it's pretty fucking insane really, still getting used to the power because my last car war was a c180, (I heavily modified that car with original brabus stuff that I imported from around the world but it was still slow as hell).

I'll be sure to post some pics when it's done. So far I've done h&r springs, michelin pilot sport as/3 plus, and I just got drilled and cryo treated drilled and slotted frozen rotors for it. You may want to do a resonator delete. It a cheap mod, but it makes the exhaust sound so much better. Do you have any plans for yours?

What kinda Brabus parts can you get aftermarket? I'm only familiar with their more recent tuner cars.

I'm still getting used to mine, too: coming from a ~180HP C240.

I thought if anything I would only do a bi-xenon swap and maybe a muffler delete or something of the sort. After driving it a bit in person though I've sort of started to think about leaving it stock.

The AMG package on it makes the wheels/exhaust/suspension plenty sporty and aggressive IMO. The seller I got it from gave it Pilot Sports on the rear and Super Sports up front so I think the tires are good so far, too.

Exhaust in the video does sound awesome though. Is the resonator delete worth it? I thought a muffler delete would make it more pronounced and louder, while the resonator delete would be more raspy/ear-rape-ish. Any major differences between the two?

I'm happy with just the resonator delete, it's loud, but not too loud. I've never heard one with just a muffler delete, the resonator delete is what most people do with these. I looked for a muffler delete and this was all I could find, but it looks like this guy also has a custom quad setup.

Yeah, the quad-exhaust setup seems really popular with the CLK.
Dunno if I'd ever want to invest that much into a custom exhaust system though.

Regardless of what you delete it sounds pretty good. Guess it'll just take some time and research on my part!

Holy shit those last two videos were insane. Reminds me of a video I saw of highway pulls with a C63: the exhaust was just blaring the whole way down. No idea if I could road-trip like that, let alone commute day-to-day.
