Sold my 2006 Mustang GT that was nothing but problems today. Picking up a 2012 Corvette Grand Sport tomorrow. So excited to have a real sports car! What mods do you suggest? I'm going to start with a Vararam Snakecharmer intake and a 93 dyno tune. That should get it to about 480 crank hp.

What problems did you have with the 06 mustang GT? All mine have been pretty solid.
Grats on the car though, C6s are a pretty good deal. Had an old LS1 that was solid, as far as the motor goes.

aw, i guess my 700 HP mustang isnt a real sports car
>so sad

I guess i got a lemon. I bought it with 60k on it and sold it at 72k. In those 12k miles I had to replace both front control arms, every suspension bushing, struts, shocks, springs, alternator, water pump, smart junction box, fuel pump, and various little things. I bought the car for 12k and put another 6k into it in repairs and maintenance. It still rode like shit so I just sold it.

bro theres a reason every warranty ends there
Congrats! Before you dyno tune I would at least recommend headers. I would drive it as stock for a while and get used to it first as a ls3 vette will be a lot different than a 4.6 gt. dyno would be the last thing I do.
My 3v has 95k on it and runs like a top

I'd look at a Halltech intake over a Vararam. I have a Vararam on my C5z and the build quality and materials are extremely poor. Vararam shit is also notorious for being a pain in the ass to install.

Let me see your z! I have vararam on my c5z, but it came with it when I bought it

I'm about to take it in for a dyno tune this tuesday, see if they can take care some of the idle surging from the cam.

I have a C6 as well.
First, get rid of the runflats if it still has them.
After that the usual exhaust, headers, cam. I'd put a CAI as low priority.
If you plan on tracking the car regularly I'd suggest new seat(s).
I've got a set of coilovers I've been meaning to install
Looks clean man. What all do you have done to it?

Rice it. Give it a wing, splitter, diffuser, extractor hood, and flared front fenders to square up the tires.

Mods for a 2012 Corvette....hmmmm.
Step One: Sell it
Step Two: Buy another Mustang
