McLaren working on a 3-seater "HyperGT" as homage to the Original F1.
Pic related is just a speculative rendering.

Rear.
What are /o/'s comments on the news?
My comment is that they're releasing too many cars. MP4-12C, 540C, 570S, 625C, 650S, 675LT, P1, I'm starting to lose track. And yes, I had to look it up on Wikipedia.

>makes pretty good performance cars now and a halo hypercar model, but like 10 different variants of those lesser models.
Where did all this startup cash come from? Was it all built from revenue off of the mp4 12c?

is it electric?
>>15479614
Various sources say it would contain a "modified 700bhp+ V8 from their existing cars." A hybrid is expected. Full electric is little expected.

>hybrid
already dog shit

>modified 700bhp+ V8 from their existing cars
Aren't they tired of shoving the same engine into everything?

That looks literally nothing like an F1. Why do manufacturers keep releasing "retro-themed" cars that look nothing like their supposed predecessors? Cases in point: this, FR-S, IDX and GripZ, the new NSX and GT (which look a lot more like each other than the cars whose pedigree they're claiming), etc.
Pic related, it's an actual example of a modern spin on an old design, rather than just marketing bullshit.
>no v12

I dont like the idea of connected thin line tail lights. It feels like the idea of that is being copied and put on other cars like the new Buggati Chiron or the new Lamborghini Centenario

>all the electronic nannies
>no manual transmission
Why even live.
