I can fit two bikes back there if I fold the seats down. Plenty of room.

If i fold the seats i could sleep in there (i actually did, 07 Focus sedan) but i could not fit in stuff like tvs, ikea boxes etc. Sometimes my gf's Opel Corsa could take bigger stuff than my car because it has a larger opening.
