>have 2007 Chevy HHR LT

>coolant temp gauge hasn't moved
>A/C is not cold at all
>pressed info button on info screen
>coolant --- degrees
>add more Dex coolant
>coolant leaks
>there;s still some coolant in my car and stopped leaking
>filled up coolant tank to the brim
>leaked again
>temp gauge hasn't moved
This did happen to me a few months back and after I did add coolant, everything was fine until this time nothing has gotten better, is there a way i could fix this on my own?
I would appreciate any input from you guys
>is there a way i could fix this on my own?
yes. sell piece of shit PT loser on craigslist and buy a real vehicle

>start car
>let it warm up
>open hood
>find where coolant is leaking from
>replace or nigger rig that part
Also i did check under while it was leaking, i saw the coolant leak form 2 different areas not too far from each other.

yep, its time to sell that turd.

Is the coolant leaking into the car, the engine or onto the ground? Check the oil.
Um.... Thermostat?

Onto the ground, is what's going on, i'm not sure if it may be the hose or not, I am thinking of selling/saving up for a newer one with less mileage. But if any of you had any other suggestions, i'd like to know, I just really like the black color and black leather seats despite being summer right now and it's like a fucking oven.
I looked more into my HHR and it turns out my serpentine belt is almost ripped, also I may have been over flowing the coolant which what the "leaking" may be, i didnt see any other signs of leaking and the coolant in my car is still there and no leaks

>I'm thinking of buying a newer one
Are you fucking retarded?
HHR's are bottom-of-the-barrel desperation cars.
>>15467868
Really? I thought they were decent quality cars, i always see them as taxis and catering vehicles, well what would you recommend?

Civic
or Accord if you need more space
>>15467321
>Chevy HHR
Sell that ugly ass money pit while you can
>>15467321
Where is it leaking? Post pics. Grab a flash light for extra lighting if you need it.

I just found there were no leaks at all, I just over flowed the coolant tank, also my radiator looks fine, hoses too, so this all may be from the fucked up belt, should be about a 20$ fix, I do appreciate everyone's input and help too, I will look into a Honda accord in the near future

Gf's dad has one. I thought it was decent enough. Electronics wouldn't work and it was uncomfortable after a few hours (6'2''), but other than that I had no big complaints.
I have the same car
Problems as follows
>Broken windshield
>brakes vibrate hard (new brake pads and rotors didnt help)
>squeaks like hell
>plastic under the windshield wipers is broken from factory and killed my ac blower motor and my left front speaker sometimes i have a puddle of water in my passenger floor
>remote start has never worked (3 generations in family hasn't worked since new)
the car is a 2006 ive got 56,000 miles on it and it only goes down hill from here
