With exception to the Spec R and Type X, the S-chassis cars weren't great stock. It was the fuckhuge tuning community and aftermarket that sprang up after it that brought the best out of them. All those "tastefully modded" shitheaps on Craigslist are a testament to that process.

Nissan gave us the platform but we made it the best, anon. Well, us and Autech for pumping out the NA 200 horsepower Autech and Varietta models. Now comes the Toyobaru after it; another affordable FR car that doesn't exactly impress from the factory but with people who want to make it do more. As the older ones depreciate we'll see more engine swaps and fuckery as the successor for the S-chassis leaves its mark.

I don't post here much and I figured I'd try being a cuck like most on here. But I can't today. Someone with some sort of knowledge. Thank you. I've owned in total 14 240sx. With a couple sc300s and trucks in between. Stock...yes they were pretty garbage. But it started with all the right things, the foundation was laid; to be able to pretty cheaply throw together a very well rounded car.
