Thoughts on the new ZL1

over priced and fat
Just uninteresting. That's all.
The last ZL1 was a lot fucking faster than i thought it would be. i figured it would just be a straight-line performer and that's kinda what it mostly was but still its time around the ring was pretty damn impressive for its sheer weight

GT500 did it even faster a year later and that car had a live fucking axle.

>both of these were in Lamborghini Superleggera and Porsche 911 Turbo S territory
The Alpha Chassis is really damn good and if the previous ZL1 was anything to go by than the Z28 should be doing things we never thought fat muscle could do.
These cars kinda remind me of picture related. looks like a fat brick but it could move. Wish Chrysler would get into the track-muscle business and revive the Cuda/barracuda on a updated chassis that could give us very surprising track performance.

Do they come with a bunch of 360° cameras?

This. I walked up to a Camaro in the parking lot today. I'm surprised you can even see out of it. Those windoes are about as wide as two fan blades on edge.

>I wish I could see the track out of this car
>why can't I see the curbs?
>oh god, this is terrible
can't compete

Discount Z06. It's cool enough, though, but I want to see what they do for the next Z/28.

It'll be a great deal at $30k in 5 years.
It would be more interesting to me if it was powered by electricity.
>>15439965
it's a Z06 for way cheaper.
640hp, 640tq, mag-ride, 10-speed, eLSD, etc.
it's gonna slay bitches on the touge
its ugly
its fat

The Barracuda is coming back. There's concept designs for 2017 out right now.

I think it looks a lot better and I would seriously buy one for the great performance value they offer if the damn thing didn't look so ridiculous still. And yes, the windows too. It might be a meme but they just don't look right
I'm just hoping either it or the new Z/28 can get the ideal Nurburging time of 7:28.87

I kinda doubt it unless they use carbon fiber, a wing, a roll-cage and back-seat delete too like the GTS (bringing it down to around 3300 lbs). although if they do somehow beat the M3 GTS without all that then BMW should probably kill themselves. Pretty sure the M3 GTS was built to be a Halo collectors item (given its limited to 700 units only 300 of which, are coming to the states) and to harbor more brand interest by setting some lap-times.
It'd be really cool if they did do some kind of super-camaro though using those same methods (roll-cage, carbon fiber etc)
