Owned 5 of them so far, with varying levels of performance and reliability. I love rotary engines, and have worked on them but never owned an RX.

Mazda embodies the spirit of driving; Zoom Zoom isnt just a catch phrase, it's finding joy in the most mundane of tasks such as driving to work. Even they're van and crossovers have sporting intentions and lively chasis and handling characteristics. If you can drive a new Mazda3 on some twisties, it will show you why Mazda has gotten so popular recently. Not to mention every auto mag rates them as one of the best interior quality up there with VW for bargain.

I will digress a moment and say that reliability is probably on par with Subaru or Nissan, but not Honda or Toyota. The new SKYActiv stuff is unproven and highly advanced so those cars will start to show signs of longevity issues soon if they are gonna crap out before 100K miles.
