ITT: cars for old people

The ND would have been a young persons car if it had stiffer suspension.

it should have been a young persons car if they turbo'd the 1.5 instead of cramming the 2.0L in it

The problem is not the power, the problem is that it's super soft. My NB felt about as soft as the ND after I removed my swaybars and put my coilovers in one of the softest settings.
I would love a 1.5ND with stiffer suspension.

yep, boomer-mobiles like this

Didn't Mazda say they intentionally tuned it to have body roll to give it better driver feel or some shit? Lol...
>>15374151
there's more to turbo's than just power, you also get
>better exhaust sound
>spooling sounds
>blow off sound
>gobs of torque
>easy to add power
basically everything young enthusiasts like

yeah and people ate that shit up. The only reason why it rolls like that is because of how soft they had to make the miata to appeal to their REAL target audience.
the proof is in the numbers: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=613006
i almost feel bad for the several young people that drank the kool-aid and bought an ND new.

The car feels faster in the corners if it rolls a lot. And it's not hard at all to solve the problems with coilovers and stiffer swaybars either.

I guess we have to see how the Fiata sells. I for one prefer NA over Turbo. Nothing beats the throttle response and the screaming noise form a NA.

I have never seen a young person with a corvette and see them on a daily basis.
