Obviously cars that have had damage will be put on a register or something? I'm UK and we have categories of damage from A to D, and your only allowed to buy/repair/strip category C and D cars. What happens with the shooting ones where there's only window damage and brains/blood everywhere? Is it recorded on the log book or title? I can imagine someone buying those cars cleaning them and just reselling them, I'd be pissed if I had bought a car where that had happened.

I imagine it's gonna be a challenge to get a car that is considered a bio hazard to be able to be insured again without replacing the whole interior?

I know when someone blows their brains out in a house the whole room is considered a bio hazard and pretty much all the stuff inside has to be thrown out+ all the flooring has to be replaced.

Growing up a buddy had a nice Toyota J40. Other buddy's dad was an insurance adjuster and turned him onto nice bucket seats out of something else that would fit the J40. Buddy pulled seats from tow yard vehicle. Said seats had pieces of people all over front portions. I helped him clean the seats, and what do you know, they bolted right into the J40. Think the donor was an 80s 4Runner.
J40 looked slick with the seats and even better when he put some 33" Alcoa wheels all the way around. Sold it after a year or so and the buyer and his girlfriend were promptly killed in it. i had gone to college by then but I think they ended up running out of the road on the Blue Ridge Pky in a bad spot. Don't know what happened to the seats. My buddy had bought a sweet K5 by then.
