I'm trying to buy a new car or truck and I came across this. I offered $7000, but he declined. kbb.com says it's worth about $6800, should I offer more?
Depends what you want and how much you are willing to spend. Would I spend $7k on a 4 banger fleet Taco? No. You could put 300k miles on that thing but it's not going to be enjoyable, they were made to be a cheap work truck, the 4 cyl has no power.

For the amount of vehicle you're getting and what it is capable of, that's worth about $1500.

So, you recommend against getting it? For that price anyway.

KBB is often not very accurate, have to do the work and look at market value by finding similar tacos.

I would absolutely recommend against getting it, even at $5000.
Inland empire.... I'm sorry. But no I wouldn't for 7k, and nowhere near 9.5

Has no power and barely gets 2-3 mpgs more than the v6.
I drive an extended cab prerunner with the 5vz so i know

Look at that seat cover.
More specifically the wear mark from someone getting In and out thousands of times.
I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't a city only vehicle or a rollback. Either way, 58k isn't "barely driven"

This vehicle would be useful for someone that has a business that transports something light but requires a pickup bed, and puts 50k miles a year on the truck. It's not a good personal use truck.

Yep, I have the same truck (04).

It's awful here
