mazda is poorfag tier

I'm sure it's a good car and all but that front bumper tho.
Just checked that our local Honda doesn't offer this in Manual. Same goes for the Mazda 3.
Fuck this. I'm getting a car from the 90s.

>too big
>shitty cvt
>too many safety features
>tiny trunk opening (not a liftback like it should be)
>no volume knob on the higher trim level radio
>electric power steering
>>15300942
It is bigger than the older Civics but it's also lower. Much smaller than the last few landboat Crown Vics I drove.
The CVT is from the Accord so it's actually a decent CVT.
Only the Touring comes standard with Honda Sense.
The truck opening is small, I'll give ya that. Pretty big trunk though.
I don't mind not having a knob on the radio because it has a touchscreen for all of that.
Wtf is wrong with electric power steering?
>>15302124
not the other guy but i'll follow up
>big as in bloated, not just size
>a cvt is a shitty cvt. No such thing as a good cvt
>electric power steering has no feelz
That is a lot of ugly.
>>15300598
>doesn't offer manual
>decides to save $30k because auto tragic
Be honest, you cant afford either
>>15302156
What makes CVTs shitty? Are they unreliable? I don't know a whole lot about them, but I do like the concept of them. I enjoy driving mine. It definitely is odd not having the feeling of downshifting.
I still don't get why electric power steering is a bad thing. Again I really enjoy driving my Civic.

It's like a pillow between your foot and the accelerator pedal. Theyre slower than a manual and they make the engine drone.
The coupe is dank is fuck and surprising small in person, which I like. It's about the size of the 8th gen coupe.
The sedan is too fucking big though, what in the god damn hell were they thinking.
>>15302187
>>15302429
That's not true in the case of Honda's newer CVTs. They're actually better than their autos now.
>>15302166
you think the price difference is that high? you're a moron
>>15303043
>That's not true in the case of Honda's newer CVTs.
'No'. I bet you've only driven the new one
>>15302187
The cvt just. .. lacks character.
I think it sorts out the power pretty effectively and you go quick but.. it doesn't sound or feel like you're going quick
>>15303343
I've driven the 7th gen, two 8th gens, two 9th gens, and test drove the 10th gen. Their new CVT is just extremely impressive.
>>15300585
Far and away the ugliest civic, maybe even ugliest car in general. Also drive by wire is fucking bullshit and I hate it. 0/10 would pull ebrake and turn 360 degrees and walk away
>>15303043
I stopped by the dealer today to spend too much on signal bulb sockets and parked right in front of a coupe. It looks pretty good. Really the only thing I dislike is the trunk area. It should have been a liftback.
>34 MPG it says
Come on, step it up!
>>15300585
I'd never drive a Honda. They just seem so plebeian. My Mazda 6 has 346k miles, though.
