What is the epitome of automobile design in your opinion, /o/utists?
Starting with the 300 SLR Coupe. A shame only two ever saw the light after Mercedes dropped from racing.
250 SWB Bertone
This comes to mind

I find those early swooping dildo cars to be quite offensive and weak.
The cutest.

Isn't that the magnesium one than killed hundreds of people?

You're a magnesium one.

It's an enclosed variant of the 300 SLR permitted on streets, built for rallies and never took off since Mercedes quit all motor sport activities after the terrible Le Mans crash of 1955. Rudolf Uhlenhaut instead used them as his private sleds, and they were the fastest registered cars on German streets.
But yeah, the base model did.

Point out where I've been wrong.
I'll stick with one of the traditional answers.
>there's a classic british car shop in town
>walk by the little show room
>see e type
>have indescribable urge to take out my balls and run them along the body
Pic related, currently for sale.

E-type design sucks balls to any version of Ferrari 250, Toyota 2000gt, citroen DS etc. It's just Babby's first classic coupe that comes to minds of crossover drivers.
>only coupes apply

It's a generic taxi thread now?
The definitive wedge. The V8 facelift is also ok.
The pre-facelift TVR Cerbera just is GOAT

I'm hard pressed to decide if the E32 looks better or not.
I'm somewhat biased because I own an E32, but the rear end of the E38 looks miles better.

Unreliable as brit cars may be, they are unbeatable in the looks department.
I can't help it, I get really excited every time I see one.
Everything the Toyota wanted their car to be.

Why are long bonnets disappearing? There's nothing sexier that a big, mean bonnet.
>>15268202
Because we need to think of the chilluns.
>>15268202
because theres no reason to use gigantic engines to make power anymore
all those old cars with long hoods look terribly proportioned anyway

Every time I see this car a reevaluate my life.
I hope they end up being at least decently reliable. I'd love to own one in 5-10.
I'm not claiming it's the sexiest but the XJR15 definitely makes my dick hard. And man, just listen to him go. I would love to one day ride in one on a track, even if it's not me doing the driving.
