Got the AC hoses all connected. Pretty easy. Big problem is that one of the condenser supports was in my glove box the day I bought the car. I'll have to get that welded back on or something before I can install the condenser.

Also need to rebuild the harness for my passenger headlight. Didn't use high enough gauge wire so it's not as bright as it should be.

trying to find an oem caliper mount, my drivers side front was replaced when I got my last insurance inspection because the mechanic claimed the bolts were stripped. It rusted after a couple months and I have to grease the brake pins every few weeks or I get wheel shake.

One of my favourite looking hondas. Are you from America or EU? If you're looking for a 3rd gen I'd recommend you get one with a b20a5. The b20a3/b20a4 is a good motor imo but only if you don't mind the fact that they are dual carb. The b21a1 (the one i have in my red 90 prelude) is a decent motor too but be prepared for it to chew through piston rings. It's one of the first engines honda made with FRM sleeves which aren't a bad thing per se, but they didn't think to improve the material of the piston ring landings or piston rings.

Evening guys, I've got a 1995, with what I think is a 94' d17y, pic related, not sure since another engine was put it it before I got the car. I let my gf borrow it to go out of town since it good on gas, and long story short she fucked it up. It's back firing, burning oil, and lost a lot of power. Here's the spark plug, the electrode is touching the ground, and is shattered. Less than a year old with low mileage.

Hey foods, I'm the other Honda civic pizza delivery guy. My car's been running super rich, and had some bad sensors. I replaced the primary o2 sensor and the intake air temp sensor since both were bad and the situation hasn't gotten better, it may have even gotten worse.

If I unplug the map sensor it seems to stop running rich. A different map sensor didn't fix the issue though.

There's quite a crack in my manifold by the o2 sensor but idk if that would cause the problems I'm having.

I've replaced everything short of rebuilding the motor, including a weber 32/36 two barrel.

Probably alternator. If the battery light came on while the car was running, that means it wasn't being charged by the alternator.

First thing is to try to jump it off

check the ground to the starter. how much do your lights dim when you try to start it? Check the ground to the alternator too, sometimes it can disconnect easily depending on what type of connector it has. Check the main harness going to the alternator too, I've owned 3 preludes and every one of them have had that main alternator harness disconnect while I was driving. You could try bump starting it to get it going again and then use whatever info you get from when it's running to troubleshoot further.
