This is how new Giulias are transported. Pretty nice, or am I wrong? Also General Passion Thread

soooo... when is alfa gonna bring their shit into the US?
Nice? Normal.
It's to prevent rock damage and such. Seems normal to me

I think end of the year

It's a thin plastic tarp. You won't prevent rock damage with it. It's general protection, yes, but not against rocks.

It should prevent most chipping from no direct contact. Or at least that is what I was told by my dad who works at a dealership as a mechanic

They do a good job at stopping random scratches, plus build-up of bugs and such on the lead car. In areas prone to a lot of dust it's good too, because rough enough dust will scratch or at least scuff the paint up right off. Also it makes it harder for the truck drivers to attempt to joy ride.

It's quite ugly from the side, there something about the hood and greenhouse section contact point that really breaks the balance of the car shape.
I think it's because the hood starts very curvy but then almost gets flat, if not downward inclined toward the A pillar.

It's either the front section too long or the greenhouse too short and shifted towards the back of the car, either ways it looks poorly balanced from the side.

To me it's the windshield that ends too abruptly.
If it ended like 3-4 inches further into the hood and with a milder curve it would have been better.
Great car otherwise.
