Post ONLY American Luxury Cars.
Preferably old ones.
They have something which no one can replicate. I love them.
>They have something which no one can replicate.
Initially the presence of excess and then the pretense of excess?
Yeah, it's ride was smooth and the transmission felt like one long gear, but holy shit, My old lincoln was a cunt and a half.
>No power whatsoever from a 400ci V8
>weird ass drivers seat position which you're 4 miles away from the steering wheel
Though it did have 1 finger power steering.

though I would never buy a 70's lincoln ever again, I'd jump right on a mid 60's continental. Holy shit.
>buy 65 continental
>save up for 700-800hp crate motor
>plop it in
>outrace most everyone in my gigantic land barge

Lincolns were always advertised as offroad vehicles
>>15226455
whole family could enjoy offroading together
>>15226291
>They have something which no one can replicate
the inability to turn?
somehow managing to get only 100 hp out of v8's?
massive front ends that make corner awareness almost impossible?
>>15226463
they were great for cowboys and girls

I can't over the tub look of these.
>track narrow enough for a compact car
>side profile overhangs so far that you could almost fit another wheel inbetween
Even though it makes no practical difference, I sure do like me a wide track Pontiac just for the looks.

American luxury cars never feel like luxury and come across more as "I was too poor for a real luxury car"
at least lowriders exist to make them cool
>not posting the best one
Chrysler Cordoba 300, totally not a biased pick I swear
>>15226504
fuck off Lahey
>>15226539
>merican luxury cars never feel like luxury
He said as he sat in his ultra plush 1995 Toyota Corolla
>>15226539
That's horseshit.
I very, very nearly bought a Lincoln Mark III a few years ago. This car was probably the pinnacle of American luxury. The interior reminded me of an oil barons cocktail lounge.
Sent a deposit and everything, unfortunately when I went to pick it up the guy had grossly misrepresented the condition of the car so I 360 noped out. Still, sort of regret it.
Ended up buying an 80's Euro luxury car instead. Interior doesn't compare, but it's still a nice car.

hahahhahahah
>>15226291
My dream is to drive cross country in one of these. How bad of an idea is that?
>>15226592
>oil barons
Well known to be people with an understanding of comfort and luxury, not lastly taste.
>>15226592
nah
American cars try too hard with plush shit and it makes it feel cheap
as someone who owned a E28 535i Ill stick to the euro cars against the Buicks, Cadillacs, and Lincolns Ive been in
>>15226697
>he bought a prius
>>15226430
What was it about these old boats that gave them the ability to have the 1 finger power steering? Why don't we have them on newer cars? I really love driving cars that have it!
>>15226476
>tfw your cars hood isn't the size of a queen sized mattress
>>15226504
I mean cars from the 70's are fuckin great for livin in
>>15226694
>E28 535i Ill
No one cares about your welfare shitbox, Ahmed.
>>15226721
>racing at red lights like teenagers
>>15226718
The steering is sloppy. Feedback is better than feeling nothing. But lucky for you drive by wire steering is becoming a thing and feedbackless steering is making a comeback.
>>15227747
no one cares about your trailer park rustbucket Bubba
am I late?
>>15227868
Sorry Ahmed I drive a real car. Take your shitbox BMW and go back to Turkey with it.

>>15228200
Your cousin's pussy doesn't count Ahmed.
God BMW owners are stupid.
If Cadillac ever puts this into production, I'll cut my left leg off and beat myself to death with it.
>>15230062
My BMW is better looking.
This is my kinda thread.
>>15226611
Well since it's really long the chances of bottoming put on top of a hill is high, but on somewhat flat land on a dry day I can't imagine this would do THAT bad, I mean it'll be bumpy but hey might be fun going off road in a giant steel bouncy house
