In the market for a used car (<$4-5K) saw this on craigslist. It seems way too cheap. Am I just overlooking something?
thats way too cheap. probably fucked somehow. 4cyl hondas are reliable but other stuff can be hit and miss.

That ad is bullshit. Also, you will never see a legit
car below "Good" KBB value on CL.

Too much miles for a 2009 and it's an auto v6. That's the only problems 8/10 deal though
>>15185627
dude, they posted the VIN. go to the VIN check thread and see what's up. plus you know you could always go drive it

No. The add is bs. These things run for 8k+
>>15185627
Seems way too cheap, especially for a top trim v6. I bought my 2009 accord 4 cylinder with 70K miles last year for $12,000
If you do end up going to look at it keep in mind that the V6 models use a timing belt instead of chains. It's usually recommended to replace the chain around 100,000 miles. Make sure you ask if they replaced it (and ask for proof). if they haven't and it fails you'r in for some big costly repairs.

Best thing to do is to meet up at a police station so there's no sketchy shit going on.

So apparently it was a rental vehicle. Would that really drop the price that much?
>>15185892
not inherently. but you know how rentals are treated, and the guy is trying to get rid of it badly if its over 50% off what normal asking is for a car with those miles and so on. just put 2 and 2 together man.
>>15185892
never buy a rental
>>15185892
a v6 rental with 137k miles would have been thrashed every day of its life.
never buy rentals

You bought an 09... For half the price... Of a brand new car. I don't care how many miles it had, you are the supreme retard

I got a brand new 2016 accord sport for 24k after tax just the other day. V6 a little more though.
