I've been thinking about the A3As too.
Saw them recently on an old datsun 510 wagon, and it looked a bit strange, but the wheels made an impression.

The fact that you can repaint the center independently from the rest of the wheel is pretty dope.

Probably just a little too 'young', but I love my Volk 5/4s.

Produced by Rays for one year, 1989, it was supposedly their attempt at making a functional wheel design. Some shit about the 5 spoke providing more stability or strength and the 4 spokes for lightness.

Personally, I think it was the last of the '80s cocaine being snorted in a final blaze of 'inspiration'.
