also the only actually dangerous turn on tuna canyon is the left hairpin that's immediately followed by the right hand hairpin right before the end, the left hairpin is the only turn on the road that has no form of guardrail or retaining wall IIRC

I live right next to one of the best short roads on the west coast, but going out and finding new roads and hitting them hard without dying is how you 'win'. The norcal group is heading to Lone Pine to take a look at some of the roads I posted on June 4th, and I'd like some socal people with some adventurousness to show up.

One thing I've noticed a lot about southland drivers is that they prefer running the same roads over and over again instead of going out to spot new ones that are entirely free of commuter traffic or tryhards like in the OP. Some day, a competitor will show up with a modified car (and borrowed plate). It's trunk has a hidden hole in it that dispenses especially fine dark-coloured gravel that was screened to be 1/8 inch diameter. This car will pick a canyon race just before the C86 Dagumo Corolla races. Of course, this car will "lose" the race by coming in last. The car releases some gravel thru the hole using an electric dispenser at any turn where there is no guard railing or where there is a steep spot. The lead racer in the next race should be careful his old knowledge of the road is as expected. Maximum Competition.

you cant practice limits on a public road. you won't ever get near them. only way to learn how to properly drive is on a track. the only limit u will find is your own.
