I tried using them once, at highway speeds they cut out like no tomorrow, and generally were painfully static-like. Never tried it again. best is just to look for some good flat-like ones, before i got these i had some from our version of wallmart, brandless cost 5,- and had amazing bass while fitting perfectly, you can always just push-out the cushioning a bit to give it a bit more slack, if they cut out you damaged the cable more likely, also check which rubbers you have to use so they don't pop out during the ride.
