The CT6 electric version will be manufactured in China due to market demand and import tax avoidance. Most Chinese at my university usually drive BMWs followed by Mercedes. I've lost count of international students driving BRZ/FRS or GTRs. Very rarely do I see Chinese driving a Cadillac.

A recent picture from a visit to the Cadillac dealer. I wish I took a picture of a black interior with carbon fiber CTS but I was too depressed that the car was dusty from no one expressing interest in the vehicle.

Coming from an advisor in a Cadillac dealership in Phoenix the CT6 will do just that.

My jaw just about dropped when the MSRP info stated the engine and transmission were made in the USA and the car itself is assembled in Michigan.

Also the fact that is a roomy and comfy boat of a car and is now RWD like the ATS and CTS. The XTS started as a mistake and ended as one.

As the salesman say to me, "Caddy is back baby"

They're still selling the XTS and CT6 at the same time. That might cause some confusion to the typical Cadillac buyer that goes to the dealership asking for the best/flagship car there. Though all the salespersons I've talked with said they were happy with the performance of the vehicle during the short test drive during training and that the Bose Panaray system is impressive. Though I hope nothing goes wrong with that audio system since the wiring must be a nightmare.

If they just fix that fucking guage cluster on the ATS, I'd buy one in a second. I'm waiting for gen 2 of the ATS, then I wanna get one.

Unfortunately Cadillac cheaps out on the gage clusters for most ATS/CTS trims. I've read plenty stories of people going to BMW instead of Cadillac due to the feeling of cheapness at staring at the very thin "digital" gage cluster.

The equivalent in the sedan is around $45k. Though buying a new Cadillac is a bad financial decision due to depreciation. Though good luck finding a used manual premium ATS in coupe or sedan. Certain Cadillac performance models are impossible to find depending on your state.
